Ex Libris position on RDA

Below is an email received from Ex Libris explaining their position on RDA (Resource, Description and Access), the eagerly awaited replacement for AACR2.........

Dear Voyager and Aleph Customers,

Please find attached the Ex Libris position on RDA. In addition, Ex Libris are attending a forum about RDA at ALA this week, which is being sponsored by the national libraries in the U.S. The forum is a prelude to a pilot testing program that will occur in the second half of 2009. We expect to know more about the implementation of RDA following the testing.
